The detail drawing of copper tube aluminum fin is shown in Figure 2. Because the aluminum base tube and copper tube are not integral materials, there must be contact thermal resistance between the two. The thermal contact resistance has a great relationship with the processing technology. For the wound finned tube and the integral rolled bimetal finned tube, the thermal contact resistance between the base tube and the outer finned tube is due to oxygen.   

The contact thermal resistance caused by slight poor contact between surfaces caused by factors such as surface roughness and surface roughness has been specially studied. The results show that: The heat transfer performance of wound fin tube bundle is about 30% lower than that of integral rolled single metal fin tube bundle (no contact thermal resistance), and the heat transfer performance of integral rolled bimetal fin tube bundle is about 12% lower than that of integral rolled single metal fin tube bundle [2]. Therefore, the contact thermal resistance of finned tubes can not be ignored. Because the finned tube studied here is processed by hot sleeve expansion, the contact thermal resistance should be smaller than that of wound finned tube and larger than that of rolled bimetal finned tube. Therefore, the influence of thermal contact resistance on the whole heat transfer process is treated as a correction coefficient here. Obviously, the correction coefficient of thermal contact resistance should be between 0.7 and 0.88 (0.7 is a correction coefficient determined by considering the influence of wound fin bank on heat transfer performance, and 0.88 is a correction coefficient determined by considering the influence of integral rolled bimetal fin bank on heat transfer performance).
