Surface cooler is the heat exchanger of fan coil, its performance determines the capacity of fan coil to deliver cold (heat) and the impact on air volume. It's usually found in air conditioners.
The aluminum fins of the air cooler in the air conditioner adopt the shape of a double-edged louver to ensure the disturbance of air heat exchange and make it in a turbulent state, thus greatly improving the heat exchange efficiency. The aluminum fins of the surface cooler go through strict three-way cleaning procedures in the factory, metal cleaning agent, supply of surface cooler fan tube plate heat exchanger factory direct purification air conditioner surface cooler factory ultrasonic cleaning, water rinse, to ensure that there is no residue on the fins, so that the air flows more smoothly, fundamentally guaranteeing the reliability of heat exchange.
The role of surface cooler:                                         
The refrigerant absorbs heat in the surface cooler, so that the temperature of the cooled space is gradually reduced.
The fan coil surface cooler of the air treatment unit cools the air flowing through the heat exchange fins outside the tube through the air conditioning chilled water (refrigerant water) flowing inside. The fan sends the cooled cold air to the place of use for cooling. The refrigerant water takes the absorbed heat back to the refrigeration unit from the return pipe of the surface cooler. After releasing heat and cooling, it is sent back to the surface cooler to absorb heat and cool the air flowing through, and circulates continuously.
 Generally, finned air heat exchangers with chilled water as the medium are called surface coolers, and Φ 16 copper pipes (hole pitch 38 column pitch 33) are used. In recent years Φ 12.7 copper tube (hole pitch 31.75, row pitch 27.5) surface cooler has also been widely used.
The surface cooler is manufactured by mechanical expansion technology, which ensures the heat exchange performance.
   The material of the surface cooler header pipe can be galvanized pipe, copper pipe or stainless steel pipe; the surface cooler fin can be ordinary aluminum foil or hydrophilic aluminum foil; and the surface cooler end guard plate can be galvanized plate or stainless steel plate.
